    The CR9E plugs would run slightly colder than the 8'8 and would foul up easier.

    Repco, autobarn, bursons or supercheap should have those in stock or get them for you

    Ok on the pitted needles. There was a post recently mentioning that the Hyosung carbs were the same units as the 3LN carbs. That would seem to be the best chance of getting new parts.

    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://fzr250.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3648&hilit=Hyosung">http://fzr250.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3 ... it=Hyosung</a><!-- m -->

    As for the washers, my understanding is that the carbs are identical except for jet sizes. Hopefully some one else will be able to provide more info for you.

    My information says BDS26 with a 24mm bore for the 2KR and
    I think the 3LN are bigger

    Hi Mate,

    Not sure if you use the forum much anymore but thought I'd run a question by you about my FZR 250. I've been having similar issues to what you were describing in this post

    The bike runs fine when idle but seems to flood when i hit a hill

    I adjusted the float tangs to try get the fuel levels on the carby bowl line... but after a quick ride I'm thinking that the guys on the forum suggesting 10.5mm above the line are right, as the bike really struggeld at high revs. It also lost power and died uphill again, seemingly the same issue.

    Just wondering how you solved your dramas... reading through the post, a few of the suggested solutions were float level, fuel pump (i also don't have one) and EXUP valve (haven't checked this yet but the cables and servo seem fine)

    Cheers

    Ben
