The screen on my 250 was yellow, faded & ugly. A mate suggested using brasso to clean it up. I gave it a go tonight... It's clear now! I'm very suprised.

I started on one half of the screen. I was laughing at how much better it looked compared to the other half. Took the screen off and cleaned it properly. It's so clear now compared to what it was, I can actually see my reflection!

Just FYI in case someone searches for info on cleaning dodgy screens. Oh and Brasso is also good for the metal bits on the bike. Brings 'em up nicely, especially the exhaust.

I find Autosol is great for all the metal on the bike as well. Not game to put it on the tinted screen tho, lol.

ive used brasso on my car headlights and it polished them up real nice... it might work on the screens but ive never tried it before... you can also use something like maguires scratch x... or if youre in sydney...drop down to just jap in kirrawee and they have this stuff to polish lights and plastics...its great...

cheers

Or if your on a slightly tighter budget and can't find any Brasso in the house... may i recommend toothpaste. For that minty fresh screen, just polish away the same way you would with brasso.
Mine was pretty buggered, and the toothpaste cleaned it up quite well but i'm still not happy with it; and ive still got a damn stain on it from some brake fluid.
