Hi, on my rebuit Zxr250a it seems to run OK but if you put the side stand down in neutral the engine misfires and eventually dies.

I've buzzed out the stand switch and get 0v with switch out (stand up) and open circuit with switch depressed (stand down).
    Any ideas? Thanks.

Does the neutral light turn on ? If not it's probably an issue there

Yep, I agree with Tony. Had exactly the same issue with a few spadas when neutral light plays up. Replacing the neutral switch works every time. ( so far)

Don't want to measure voltage on interloc switches (there is none). Instead measure continuity to ground or swich connectivity:

    - sidestand: up = connected, down = open
    - neutral: yes = connected, no = open

Measure neutral safety-switch directly. Neutral light on dash may not be connected properly.

Also measure clutch switch. On several of my bikes, wiring was rigged to show clutch squeezed regardless of actual lever position. So i was able to start bike in gear with clutch engaged!

Ended up bypassing the side stand switch.
Neutral light works OK and buzzed out at the sensor, side stand switch also buzzed out OK. So not sure.
I wonder if because I fitted aftermarket led indicators with diodes behind the dash theyve affected something.
    It'll do for now.
