    Hi All,
Was reading a few threads about replacing your HT leads by screwing them into the plug caps.

When I was putting new spark plugs into the Across the HT leads were coming out of the plug cap...

Are the HT leads meant to screw/silicone/magic into the end of the plug cap and not fall out?

The HT lead doesn't look like it has a thread on it so how does it stay in the plug cap and not fall out?

Unscrew the cap if it isn't already off and snip a couple of MMs off the end of the lead

Then if u look down the end of the cap theres a screw that should be a shiny brass colour

Screw them clockwise back into the nice new wire on the lead after snipping off the end and screw it in till it feels tight .... turn the cap not the lead.... make sure it starts in the central core of the lead so u don't screw it into the rubber ... otherwise no sparky

Thanks mate! I'll give it a go.
The lead lengths on the Across are pretty tight (not much slack) so may need to buy a roll and make some more which are a bit longer.

Ring around if you need new, only some shops have them on a roll. I think it was about $12/m from KTM hoppers crossing where I got mine. It's pretty standard stuff, copper core.

Thanks Grey, successfully screwed 2 of the 4 leads back into the caps as they were only just sitting in there, not screwed in at all!
