The rear shockers seem to be a little hard giving me a bit of bouncing around on rough roads. I have dismantled them both and the damping seems to be the same both sides and about what I would expect and the adjustment is at the softest setting, so it is the springs that are hard. The springs are as hard as on my Honda cb450 which is a much heavier bike.
Is this normal for an sr250 82 model or has someone put harder springs on?
Does anyone have a suggestion for softening the ride on this bike?
    Thanks for any suggestions!

Interestingly now I have ridden about 5000 kilometers the suspension has loosened up and it's quite comfortable now.
