Hi guys im putting the battery on fully charged up, but when i go to start it the next morning the battery is drained. somebody on here said it could be the starter relay solenoid. Ive attatched 2 pictures one of my starter relay off my 3ln and the other which bought off ebay which is abit different would i be able to convert it to the same as my 3ln one. A starter solenoid is a starter solenoid; there really isn't much to adapting one to your bike (assuming it's rated for 12v). That said, I'd be very surprised if it was the solenoid - it's such a simple device that there isn't much to go wrong, and about the only way I can think of that it could draw down the battery was if the armature was arc-welded in the ON position, at which point the starter motor would be continuously cranking! <!-- s:-? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_Eyecrazy.gif" alt=":-?" title="Eye Crazy" /><!-- s:-? --> Check for a snail-trail of crud across the terminals; this can act as a medium-resistance conductor, draining the battery overnight. Also, look for any lights that aren't going off - are you removing the key at LOCK, or PARK?
Just a second train of thought - charge the battery and then unplug the Rectifier/Regulator, then plug in and check the following day.
