DSC_0162.JPG Hey guys, sadly some fuckwit has decided to steal my bike. The bike was parked just south of Bunnings Marion in the undercover area. It was stolen between the hours of 6pm-11pm on Thursday 18/09. Any help leading to its where abouts or to whoever stole it would be great. Whether you saw something odd around Marion or have seen it in some guys backyard or whatever. If you see any new parts being listed on ebay or gumtree or whatever that look anything like mine or look suspect at all please do not hesitate to message me.

Its yellow, yellow rim tape, black rims, black wind shield, black front mudguard, covered in various gopro mounts and vinyl stickers, #11 on the tail section. Rego plate s76aow. No other real defining features.

Not gonna lie, I feel gutted as I loved that bike and I am really unsettled about it.

    Anyway, thanks guys.

I feel your pain Edwardo. :( Hope you can recover it undamaged.
Similar feeling when my ST1100 went up in flames.

Mate that's bad news. Good luck finding it! Throw something up on Facebook on a buy sell and swap site I'm sure it will get shared around.

Hey Edwardo, so sorry to hear the news. Alas there are low lives who live amongst us, think all the advise offered by forum members is valid and we can only hope that the bike is found in good order. Keep us posted mate.

Thanks for the advice guys. Talked to the cops last night. They will be in contact if/when they get any info. Adds have been put up on fb and gumtree so all I can really do is wait. I'll get onto net rider as well.

Such a **** feeling walking out from work and looking at an empty carpark. Also to whoever stole it, have fun trying to get rid of that 6-8k rpm flat spot. Kinda bummed, it's my uni holidays, I planned to do valve clearances and I've got various bits and pieces gaskets and o rings I was gonna chuck in. Never done clearances before I kinda looking forward to it.

I know the bike isn't worth much, I honestly don't think I'll see it again but that was my only form of transport and I loved riding it.

    Thanks again guys.

Have you checked around where you parked to see if it is near by? Common tactic with stolen bikes is to move it just out of sight. If they are smart it will be in someone's garage or covered up

This sort of stuff has never entered my mind, how do people steel a bike.mine always has the steering locked on full lock and the bike weighs 150kg and the gsx has a padlock through the front disc.surely some people would hav seen it being moved by two or more men in a not normal way of moving a bike...Ken

So word spread around at work and it turns out a work mate actually saw it getting stolen. Apparently two blokes just pulled up with a trailer and picked up the bike and over the side she went. Tossed it in and drove off. He did think it was suss but thought maybe it was broken down and they were just moving it. Got a partial trailer number plate and description of the people. Might lead somewhere, better than nothing I guess.

Definitely investing in a gps tracker. And proper locks etc for next time.

Why we have filfth like this don't know. I worked and earned my own money to buy it and spent countless hours tinkering with it and to them its nothing, just an easy target to fulfil their crippling inadequacies of being failures in life and having no better plan than stealing someone else's belongings. What I'm learning: the world is full of scum and no one is to be trusted, take every precaution with your bike.

just a thought some shopping centres are peppered with security cameras - worth asking centre security and scan everywhere to see if there was anywhere else with a camera that may have captured something

Just thinking along similar lines having just peruse Edwardo's post. Hey it certainly can't hurt and one never knows? Wouldn't it be nice to catch the Bastards on camera, nothing to loose.

Unfortunately the bike was not insured. Insurance costs me a lot due to my reckless teenage motoring years haha. I guess I never thought I'd need it as well..

Needless to say I'm on the look out for a cheap shitty bike I can begin the whole process on again. Anyone in Adelaide know of any 2 fiddy 4 bangers? If so holla at me!
