Risky, might be time to park it in shed out of sight, or put a bike cover over it.

Fortunately thieves are quite stupid... especially the drug user kind. Glad you got your bike back!

Definitely want to keep it locked up securely now though. I would be paranoid that the person may return or let their friends know what you have.

Also, this is also why when I sell anything I make sure no one can see what other toys I have.

kickers right ,according to police stats (fk hate giving them any credit) with break ins once 1 happens, the risk of future break in goes up by a large amount , sort out your security after all the druggies don't do much except get ripped and sit around and talk about their scores

picked the bike up. having trouble to get the tank open as they broke the lock severely. top of tank pushed down around filler cap.blinker broken, ignition broken, ducktail scraped, front guard cracked, seat damaged.about a grand if i do the labouring.i hope the dna belongs to the drug dealer so can claim, other druggies would be penniless dropkicks.will try cleaning the finger printing crap off with ct18 truck wash.

That's horrid stuff, sort of like a graphite powder.
A mate had his 4 door HQ Monaro stolen quite a few year's ago and it was recovered the next day half stripped in a paddock amongst the tree's, the paint was a white pearl colour, my mate ended up having to buff the car to get all the powder off.

I still have that grey crap all over my toilet from a previous burglary, can't get the damn stuff off the plastic.

Glad you got it back at least, risky. Maybe 3rd party fire and theft isn't such a bad idea... they seem to be attracted to the pretty colours of that bike...

would like to buy a grenade launcher and grenades.lol.seat slashed, headlamp shell bolts missing, finally got the petrol cap off and smashed ignition lock off.hope to get dents out tmr and lock back in.want to see if motor damaged as they were screaming it.to repaint guard, tank and ducktail is 600 if the dents are repaired. have to lift the whole filler cap area and some other dents. filler cap area has started to rise but will have to make a tool for a slide hammer to fit.

not sure what the legalities are concerning suspects facing charges prior to trial, versus people convicted of the crimes and publishing their details anywhere

FWIW I appreciate Risky naming the suspect as there are other forum members in Newcastle and I wouldn't want to see others have their stuff stolen, just glad he's nowhere near me...sorry
