Since a few days ago I realised my left headlight was permanently on high beams. Any idea how to get rid of this?

Replace the bulb? Check the wiring for that bulb as well. But probably just a bulb replacement.

Not sure it will be faulty because the high beam bulb is totally seperate from the normal bulb... I think it must be wiring issue.

The bulb is a bitch to get out. What's the trick? ;-)

    Thanks

same problem here replaced both bulbs and wallah problem fixed

on the 2kr you squeeze the clip behind the bulb (from memory) little bit of effort and a lotta bad words

Thanks for the info brad. took the whole front fairing off, headlights, air ducts, pretty much the whole front haha. Had to reconnect my speedo cable, and you just cant do it unless you take the front fairing off.

I took the bulb out, put it in the right hand side one, and guess what? The right hand side was now on permanently. It turns out to be the actual bulb that is the problem, can't imagine why. Regardless, I'm going to get some new one's as soon as I can.

replaced my normal headlight bulbs, only cost me $3. But they are 12V 4W instead of 3.4W. It's a little bit brighter, is this a problem at all?
