If any of you guys are in Brisvegas, there's a pink ribbon ride organised this sunday through WIMA. Men get breast cancer too so it would be good for the extra support. I'm going with the www.ozsportbikes.com crew, the more support the better.. if anyone is interested send me a pm and i'll give you the details sorry it's in the wrong spot boz.. i just thought more exposure here.. most rides were held on Oct 24th. QLD and SA have theirs on the 31st. See http://www.pinkribbonride.com/
Yeh its already passed, starting place was near my house as well, but being the lazy **** i was i slept in.
Did the ride today but maybe should have stayed home When we were at the meeting point i dropped my helmet and broke the visor. It wouldn't go back on properly, had it partly on and decided to chance it with it partly open. Which was ok but i couldn't get my sunnies on cruising at 100kmh wind in eyes was yucko. Anyway it came loose, so i'm riding along holding it when i figured i'd pull it off before it fell off. Then i had it in my hand with no idea what to do with the damm thing. I fiddled for a while till a harley rider saw me trying to ride and hold it and his pillion took it for me I was able to put my sunnies on so i tried to do that riding, and of course i dropped them so i had to go back and get them Met back up with my group, cruising along, then a guy tells me to pull over.. what the hell... Speedo cable has come loose and is dragging on the ground, we fix it and get to the pub where everyone else is. I saw a girl i know so i went to park next to her and nearly dropped my bike... On the upside, i'd say there was between 1,500 and 2,000 bikes. it was incredible being a part of something that big, and all the people were friendly no matter what bike they rode
