Not too sure about the decals atm. You can't really see it in the pics but the paint has a bit of a pearl shimmer in the sunlight, looks cool I just don't know what decals to put back on, if any. Maybe 'suzuki' in black across the belly, any thoughts?
Hey Edwardo Nice looking bike, would love to see it in the sun light or under light to get the flec effect. Few years back I bought an Across on e-bay and like yours in had few if any stickers on it, colour was a dark grey, looked awesome and I got many favourable comments on the bike. Have a good think about what you want. Of course you do have the option of getting Chris to make 2 large decals that would go from front to rear with this forums logo, sorry mate, only joking, cheap publicity stunt. Bike looks awesome!
It seems I don't have much of an eye when it comes to details like this. Funny though, I will comment on something that looks good but I wouldn't have a clue when it comes to actually doing it. And i guess everyone has different tastes. I like the all white theme on some cars/bikes, but admittedly I think the old girl would benefit from some black. I think a minimal amount would do, I particularly enjoy the original 'Suzuki' sticker across the man bag, so i might keep that but in black. Maybe something where the x913 sticker would go, or anywhere along the belly/lower side argh I dunno! There are lots of nice big flat places to put them unlike the zxr. Too many, one could say haha I'll do some searching online and see what I come up with. Also, thanks for the ideas, more than welcome. And for the big 2fiftycc.com one on the side, I'd do it for $20 a week! haha
Its good to get ideas from people or from other bikes/cars but in the end the best will be what appeals to you .... especially when u get to do a custom job from scratch. I think that paint job looks excellent and Im sure photos dont do it justice, as u said, and looks even better in person. If u want to do like I have with your pics theres plenty of photo editing software , but I just used the edit > text tool in Photobucket .... easy stuff
