    Hey all,

I've been interested in putting an aftermarket muffler on my across, my concern is that it looks like the exhaust is all one piece(the muffler doesn't slip on) is this correct? If so would it need to be cut and a new exhaust welded on?

Also the only aftermarket muffler i could find is the Roo Racing muffler, which doesn't seem to be very common. Anyone know of any others??

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated

    Thanks guys

    Hey Mike

I like the carbon fibre look from Roo Racing, thats  a cool looking pipe ,I had a chrome one on mine, but I sold it as I like the original look of the bike. You can try pipe masters in Bowen Hills (Brisbane) http://pipemasters.net to see if they offer anything cheaper.  The Across exhaust is a one piece system, you will need to cut the pipe off, however I would measure 3 times then cut.
    cheers

    That is a nice pipe!!

Is it specifically for an Across or just a universal one you had fitted?

    Hey Mike
Roo Racing pipes are quite good, think they are a west Australian firm.
Had a carbon pipe from them, good quality and a nice sound.
Best to keep shopping until you find what you're after.

I just took the old one off of my bike (it was a stayintune that I dinted...) and put a Roo Racing one on.... gotta say, I love the new one! Gorgeous deep sound, little quieter...  :D :D :D :D

And my obligatory little dance... SHINY SHINY SHINY SHINY! *cough* excuse me.
