    [size=1em]looks like the valve shims in the GSX250F are 7.48 millimeters in diameter according to this web site as the part numbers match what is in the GSX250F manual for shim sizes on page 2-7

    there is plenty more sizes that are not listed on the link above. the link above misses out the odd sizes.

    i just took this program for a spin and fed some dummy values in to it for the actual clearance measured, heres the text file it game me for results

    Normal clearance for exhaust valves:0.20 ±0.03
    Normal clearance for intake valves :0.17 ±0.03

    Brand: Suzuki
    Shims with 0.05mm step, from 1.2mm to 2.2mm
    Shim diameter is 7.48mm

    4 Cyl. engine.

    Shim selection mode:
    Shim selection only for those valves, where clearances are beyond limits.


    Removed shims will be placed, where they fit best.

    and just so you know, the program runs fine in Linux using "wine"the service manual says

    tappet clearance when cold

    inlet - 0.17 - 0-27 millimeters
    exhaust 0.20 - 0.30 millimeters


    so when you run the program you need to change the default values in upper left corner to suit what i typed above and your all set to go.
    yippe, what a great little program

    i emailed the program author, to configure it to our gsx250f across, do this


    - change inlet clearance to 0.22 and +-5
    - change exhaust to 0.25 and +-5

    and your set!
