Hey what condition are the rings in? I'm sure I'm interested in the stuff there, just gotta strip my engine down to see what needs a replacement of.
What bolloxed the engine was bearing failure on pots 2 and 3. You can see details in another post. Anyhow, I was tweaked one night and got on a major bent to rip the engine apart. I took a fair amount of care but did not follow any specific procedure. Rings should be fine. Would prefer to see it all go at once but can make allowances. Are all the parts you have in working condition? Might be interested in buying all of them. Got a price in mind?
Its probably best if you come and see. The engine was pooched because it was making an awful knocking noise. I have since found it to be the bearings between the conrod and crank on two pots were stuffed. One was starting to seize and the other allowed the piston and conrod to move slightly independent of the crank. We can discuss price when you come over. Matt

I was able to have a peek when the guy I bought the bike off was tweaking some things, so I have some sort of idea what goes where, but I actually have laid my hands on it yet.
