    It appears fairly complete - even the chrome looks OK.....it even has the impossible to find front guard!

    $950 is pretty cheap. I've seen a few cheap ones around, which is a problem when I'm trying to sell mine for a decent price.

    Yep, the lil vtr250 bubble has well and truly burst.. heaps available atm..cheap n getting cheaper,, Conversely looks like the mighty Spada has started getting rarer.. Very few on the market atm.

    Mine has a tacho... :-D
    I think the first 2-3 years were tacho-less; mine's an '03.

    Or did you mean the EFI series? Not a fan of that styling, sorry.

    As a blatant copy of the Ducati Monster at the time they even went the same path (no Tacho) as Ducati for the first couple of years... I am not sure when they changed over. One I had was a 2003 but the PO had installed the earlier Speedo only in their poor attempt to Cafe the bike. I can tell you the harness is different between them but nothing would stop you buying a later harness and putting the later instruments on there.. that was basically the only difference until the addition of FI around 2009 / 2010.
    I think I even have a later model harness laying in a box somewhere.. lol

    I think the EFI version is a copy of the later monster, at least insofar as that ugly rear fender thing. I've had a spada and VTR, I prefer the VTR. This one has an aftermarket exhaust, which sounds cool. Well, I think it does...
