    Ok gentlemen. My thanks to you all for all your advice while the zxr transformed from a non-starting, smoke belching nugget to a high revving rocket.

    After 2 carb tairdowns, some tinkering with the electrics, extensive tank bogging, and 2 stator cover gaskets, she is runnin, and she is runnin smooooooth.

    My additions are: homejob radiator fan switch, inline fuel filter and most imprtantly, 10 (or 20) coats of sunshades spray tint on the windshield (5+ HP)

    Good to see your bike is done mate. Soon all us 250 riders in qld should meet up for a ride once the bikes out bikes are roadworthy.
