I now know why so many of you ride sports bikes! It is not because you like going around corners it is that you want those nice big easy to clean flaring not all the nooks and crannies I have on mine.

I gave the bike its first detail and it come up well and my hands shod heal in a week or two.

With this in mind do you have any tips for cleaning and detailing bikes.

What is the best order to do things and anyone come up with a good use for a brush or something else that wasn't made to be used for cleaning a bike. I saw a cone shaped brush at repco the other day and I am thinking it may be handy. Of cause there is always a couple of old tooth brushes in my wash kit.

(Also any tips on how to get the skin and blood of the bike would be real handy about now)

I use a micro fibre mit and wash and wax for the whole bike and kero in a spray bottle and a rag to do the wheels. As for removing blood and skin :icon_scratch:...... I dont know
