does anyone have any ideas what would be a good engine to stick in a yamaha tw?
im gonna put a bigger engine in one (who wants a bike thats set up for learners!?) and need a few ideas. cant be anything too big because there isnt a huge amount of space...
so far iv been thinking xt600... but even that might be too big.

They are a fairly heavy engine and the horse power is about the same as the 250, but the torque curve is a bit different, pulls well from low revs to the top and the one I had was a 5 speed gearbox. Don't know if the later ones got a six speed box. An RZ350 twin two stroke would be a weapon.
