held yesterday[saturday] at the old bar short circuit oiled dirt track.been going there for over 50 years and this race meeting was started 5 years ago.last year was washed out but this year fine and sunny.racing was fast as track was dry, crowds were down due to no refunds last year and no motogp riders. marshals around the track needed to be replaced as they were dangerous.clerk of course went on track at one stage waving a red folder!!!!!!!!!!!jarred mees won the final as troy herfoss was up his clacker.21 laps under 22 seconda a lap.no falls in final but earlier in day jason crump went down while leading then 2nd placed rider went down after running over crump. wonder why he did not appear!! for final.no major injuries.overall a good days racing.spectator facilities improving.poor point same as previous years- marshalling on the course.
