Year: 1990 Complianced: 2003 Make: Yamaha Model FZR250 Model code: 3LN3 Colour: White/Red stickers Kilometres: ~34,000kms Rego: Rego up until December 2007 Contact: Tom / PM me for contact details Location: Melbourne Picked up this bike earlier this year with 28,000 km’s on it. I’ve been using it to commute to work during the week and to play in the hills on the weekend and it hasn’t skipped a beat. Since purchase I’ve: Changed the oil at regular intervals (3,000kms) with Motul 5100 10W-50, Used genuine Yamaha oil filters every 2nd oil change Flushed and changed engine coolant; Flushed and changed brake fluid with Nulon DOT5 fluid Had valve shims done immediately after purchase Had carbs cleaned and balanced; Used only PULP (trust me, this bike loves it) Replaced battery (old one died out soon after purchase) On purchase the bike got a new rear tyre as part of the RWC, it’s a 130 wide Battlax BT45R, with about 70% tread left. Almost completely scrubbed to the edges  Front is Arrowmax 145, about 50%. Will start first time every morning with full choke. Bike came with a louder exhaust, I assume it has been partially debaffled or otherwise tinkered with. You will be noticed by the cagers in the street, and it gives off a very nice bark at about 10,000 rpm when the Exup opens completely and sounds absolutely manic at the 18,500rpm redline. This bike is a CBR/ZXR competitor (if not beater ). Fairings have some wear and tear – biggest of which is a crack on the left hand side fairing near a bolt hole where prev. owner must have overtightened the bolt up, and one or two missing lugs on the rear tailpiece section. Other than the cosmetic problems mentioned, the bike is a dream to ride. Chain is a DID variant, lubed using BelRay lube. Sprockets are in top shape. Test ride if you leave me your licence and your car keys and blood relative as collateral, and if you broke it you bought it at asking price - NO EXCEPTIONS. Asking $3,800
