Not really a QLD event but at least 4 of us will be heading for there (Shell Harbour NSW) leaving March 2.
About the rally, I think just best to hook up to this link for info on THIS rally

Note you do not need to register for the rally if you just want to come look around.
For those that don't know, the vjmc is Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, all bikes 15 years and older are eligible.
VJMC spans Australia, USA, NZ UK,Canada.
Brisbane monthly meetings are held at the Belmont Tavern 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Belmont shopping centre cnr Belmont Rd and Burstall Ave Belmont at 7pm. Good meals and safe parking for bikes right in view. Usually a turn out of 10 to 30 membersĀ  attend. We mostly have 2 rides per month or one ride and a social event such as a bike show, swap meet etc. Come along for the evening and see what we are about. You don't need a vintage bike, just a interest in them or a desire to have one in the future.

Ok March 2, 4 of us are leaving for Shell Harbour, we are going to take 2 nights to get there, it is only 1100K so pace will be lazy and within speed limits, I have just had too many fines and lost my licence too many times over the years, I'm over it.

    I'll be riding a 1965 Honda CB450, mates will be on 1975 TX500 yam, 198? XZ550 Yam, 1980 CX500 Cafe racer.

If anyone wants to come along let me know on 0422819200, you can come on any bike but just remember it is a lazy pace so even small modern bikes will easy do it. We will go inland via Tamworth etc, plenty of stops and a few off the beaten track off shoots.

You will need some week time off as we are leaving on Wednesday March 2 and likely not getting back till the following Tuesday.
