Hey all, first post in the forum (wealth of knowledge here ).

Here's the story, I picked up a 3LN3 about 2 months ago for $1800, had a few minor problems, which I've sorted out.

The only problem I couldn't sort out myself was a dent in the front rim, so I took the rim to a wheel / rim specialist to get fixed, however they informed me that there was a hairline crack in the wheel and that they would not work on it.

So now I've got my new (and first) bike running fantastically..... with no front wheel.

Now, I'm assuming that you can't simply weld up the crack or similar (correct me if I'm wrong), it just sounds too unsafe.

So I'm looking for a 3LN3 front rim (or any FZR250 rim that'll fit) with dual brake rotors.
Can't seem to find any at the local wreckers, the best I found was this: http://www.importmc.com.au/cms/Bikes/Wr ... ecking.htm .

So I was wondering if anyone was looking to part with one? or lead me to a wrecker in Adelaide, Australia.

btw, I've already posted a question to the website above and am awaiting a reply, will post back here to inform everyone of the reply.

So to sum up... I need a wheel.

Thanks,

Good site for parts

Hey all,
Just giving an update on parts searching in case it helps anyone in the future.

I looked all over the net (and rung a heap of wreckers in Adelaide, to no avail) and found the best website was: http://www.findapart.com.au/
They send out your inquiry to a bunch of wreckers who respond with quotes etc.
Got back some good quotes (the best being from importmc.com.au, who I'd already contacted )

Anyway, just thought I'd share a good spot to search for parts.
