    Hi all,

I have spent today taking more bits off and finding more things that will need repair. Also thinking about getting the frame & engine sandblasted.

Frame will need repair as there is damage to left side where the car hit. Also the engine took a knock and has some damage to the block but I think the bike will still run ok. Will have to test it or will have to source a FZR400 engine to replace original.

The insurance quote for the bike was $7000, but I estimate that I can get it back on the road and looking good for around $2000 if I do most of the work. I have a spray painting mate and a friend who applies decals to race cars so I will have a nice looking bike hopefully!!

Well I will keep everyone updated as things progress. Still waiting for my cheque to replace my helmet from insurance.

    Cheers,

    Ian

Is there any way to have an image library on this forum? Or do you have to upload the pics to an external site and link?

Good luck with the big project !
At this stage the links must be external so bandwidth can be saved for the webpage as we are developing it at this time.. However if you wish to add your pics to the webpage you can send me or james and email (email addresses obtainable from our profiles) then we can post it up as soon as the webpage is out.
