I,m thinkin about gettin this oil http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/...cture/rock_oil_-_fully_synthetic_-_per_litre/ .

Is it a bit over the top?
Would you recommend it or something else? I don,t mind paying for good oil coz she went down on number 3 cylinder yesterday so i,ve to change the plugs too and it,s a runnin project tbh. Anyways any advice would be appreciated cheers.

OK I get to be controversial - Mixed fleet diesel oil - at the moment Nulon 15W-40 semi synthetic because I intended to use Delo 400 but couldn't locate 10 or 20 litre drums. You just need something with a petrol API listed also - there's also a Gulf Western Mixed Fleet oil available at Supercheap which gets a good mention.

    read about it here

    http://www.netrider.net.au/threads/the-oil-controversy-thread.74009/

I'm using the same oil in my Mum's xc Barina since I did a full top down rebuild after using a running in oil for 1000kms

And if I wasn't being controversial enough

    substitute for fork oil

    http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/432641-mobile-1-synthetic-atf-vs-10w-fork-oil/

Interestingly I was in Enzed hydraulics the other day and they've got ATF Fluid on the shelf...

The motorbike usage on the label lets them think they can inflate the price big time - been there done that - no more though

    Don't flame me
