Now I know some of you guys are gona hate me for this BUTTTTT I think the new R1 (2004) dosnt look as good as the older models. Maybe its just me but they are looking stranger I love the 2001,02,03 models but for some reason not the 2004. There was lots of hype when the motorcycle expo was here (melbourne) because it was going to be the premiere of the 2004 r1. For me it certainly did not steal the show by any means. If someone were to offer me one I would not turn it down of course, but I prefer some other litre sports bikes actually. I think one of the reasons is simply because everyone has an r1 and i like things that are a bit different and unique. And agree with the thoughts above - the older r1's I thought were nicer looking too.
Yeh, i like having unique bikes... thats why i was happy for the FZR.. cause not much people have it in my area... CBR 250s are so common !. R1 Yeah I to get butterflys just thinking but still I mean they are kinda ugly I reckon. There wouldnt be much diff between the hot sexy very very very wicked 2003 model and ugly what the hell have they done 2004 perfomance wise. But yeah they are widow makers ive have seen one in a video do 198km.h in second. That would be easy to get with a jet kit, exhaust and a few other modds.

r1 After looking at the R1 for some time I can say its SEXY hahaha just like the new WRX it takes time to get use to it and to love it.
