    "Cherry" the 3ln3 FZR250
Well the best I could run was a 15.306. And believe me, I had my tryhard panties on. I got my launch right & clutchless shifted each gear, full tuck and was caining cherry.

My MPH though is up, better than my best run last time by 4mph. 85MPH was the best last time, and on my 3 runs, I was hitting 88-89 MPH. So the sprocket is giving me more wind up as expected.

I don't need to change to 6th gear until after the traps.

With the temps at 25-26 deg, it made the job harder. Last time I did it in 9deg or something like that. And heat kills power.

The carbies aren't 100% after the water/fuel episode last time either. Not that fizzer carbs are ever 100% anyway.....

It will be a while before I try again. Cherry needs the cam chain done, clearances done, and carbs tweeked.

Those hopefully won't be needed for a few months yet.

6 months I'd say and I'll give it another crack. Maybe grab my spare wheel and throw a bigger sprocket on that to give me more pick up.

Hopefully, maybe I may pick up a nitrous kit for it, but that's proving to be a lot harder than first anticipated. No one makes a kit small enough for a 2 fifty, and it would also need to be a wet kit, due to being Carbed. Which could be a challenge delivering extra fuel from the tank to the digger system.

No one cares about old carbed bikes, there are a lot of dry kits for bigger EFI bikes though.

Until then, my 14.977 remains and so does my desire to take back the 2fifty hall of fame no 1 spot.

    Vid to come.

PS, we did see a 2 week old Kwaka H2 there.
