Would an FZR400 tank fit on an FZR250?

I'm stuck with my FZR250R (3LN3?) until I get my full license. I've started going on fairly long rides with other riders, and am sick of having to fill up at almost every large town I visit. I can't go on certain routes because there are no service stations, or they are very rural and may not be open on weekends/holidays. I get around 160KM before hitting reserve, traveling mostly at 100K, a lot of curvy hilly roads. I was hoping to throw a bigger tank on to try to get to the 250k+ mark. So would the FZR400 tank be an easy change over, or is there another suggestion from you any of you? Perhaps I simply need to flick this and try to get something bigger but LAMS compliant.

Maybe a 5 litre jerry can might be a cheaper solution.
The 2KR has a 14 litre capacity and reserve is 3.8 litres remaining.
You are getting 160k on 10L of fuel. 5L should get another 80k, making a range of 240k plus reserve, another 60k. Total 300k to empty.

My SV1000 does around 240k on 13L with 4L remaining.
