Was originally looking to sell in one piece, but offers received on Gumtree to date have been the equivalent of what I'd expect for a non-runner or accident damaged write-off, so I've decided to wreck it instead.

1991 model, imported and complianced in 1997. Will start, though is in a poor state of tune and has some fuel and air leaks. Am not inclined to spend the money on a carb seal kit and new boots, but it runs at least well enough to demonstrate that it has no knocks, etc. Unsure of actual KMs on the engine, as it is not original to the frame according to the PPSR check.

    • engine, radiator, carbs, airbox, loom & CDI: $400 - will need carb seal kit.
    • forks (rechromed tubes), triple clamps & clipons: $200 - will need new seals, bearings OK.
    • rearsets: $40
    • extractors & muffler: $50 - muffler has road rash, headers OK.
    • instruments, mount & headlights: $50
    • frame, sub-frame, swingarm & shock: $50
    • front & rear rims: $250 with discs, sprocket, axles & spacers
    • fuel tank & petcock: $80 - tank needs a respray and has some light oxidisation inside which would clean out OK.
    • front & rear brakes & m/c: $50

Some negotiability on price. Would prefer to sell larger groups of items. Feel free to post a reply or PM me with any queries.

As part of a shed cleanup I also have some items that are available for FREE. All to go at once. Some will be binned if no-one wants them. All MC22 unless stated otherwise. Some with minor damage, but are repairable and/or suitable for track spares.
    • L & R fibreglass side fairings, some cracks.
    • tank - dents from H-frame at front, some rust inside which would require a treatment and sealer kit.
    • h-frame - minor bend in horizontal bar.
    • 3 x instrument brackets - various minor bends.
    • 2 x front mudguards - minor blemishes
    • 1 x fibreglass single piece ducktail - shortened to extend from behind the seat only, needs paint.
    • LHS rear fairing - small crack near taillight edge, repairable.
    • various air ducts, chain guards, battery box, radiator guard.
    • wiring loom - looks like it has been modified by a prior owner, maybe good for connectors, etc.
    • front & rear seat bases - plastic only, no foam or vinyl.
    • MC19 radiator - has a bend, but could possibly be straightened out.
    • radiator overflow bottle & stone guard.
    • muffler clamp.
    • radiator supports - bent, but able to be straightened.
    • 3 x fuel fillers - only one with key, but seal is missing.
    • 3 x pairs of pillion pegs.
    • MC19 3 bolt rear disc
    • Coerce aluminium rear sets - some grazes, probably incomplete but may be usable.

I might be interested in some freebies, but I'm more interested in the engine...but shipping it to me would probably be too much $$$$.

Yeah, shipping in Australia for an engine would probably be expensive enough, let alone to the Northern hemisphere.

Damus, I do have some other spare CDI units. One off a 1991 and one off a 1994 if I recall correctly, but I can't remember which one is which. I'll have to see if I can work it out from the serial numbers.

Not much interest in the bike, so I think I'll keep it. Possibly turn it into a track bike, or just keep it around for spare parts. I've thrown out some pieces in the freebies pile, and have put some aside for track spares in case I do go down that route, so there's not much left available.
