Im in need of a Front fairing for a 3LN-1 model FZR. Any1 able to help? Wreckers want way to much. Also does any1 know where i could find some GLASS headlights or headlight covers for my bike as the ones i have are plastic and the lights are only 34.5w and i want to use 65w ones but im unsure if they will melt the plastic, has any1 else had this problem or found a way around it?

My 2KR had 55w headlamps fitted and never melted anything. However the wiring was not really up to it, the lights slow to brighten up when switching hi/low, low/hi. I don't know if the 3LN was better in that respect...

Well the 3LN-1 uses the H6 type of light and as far as i have been able to find i can only jump from 35w up to 65w. Does any1 know any other place i could get some better lights as the ones i have a horrible, i almost ran ova some kid sk8ing along the road a week ago as i couldnt see him till he came into the very narrow field of view.

Sort of reminds me of when I got my FZR - a previous owner had managed to fit the globes in upside down I found that after the first night ride..

I sold my FZR 10 months ago (it was a 2KR model) but it had 60/55 H4's with the standard reflectors which I think were the same as the 3LN1... Hope that helps.. My current bike uses 2 x H4 60/55w and is good at night. I plan to upgrade to the Narva H4 50+ lamps which put out about 50% more light than standard. These are highly recommended by other users and produce no extra heat..

I rang the local auto electrical place here and they did not have the narva +50 in stock but could get them, I think about $13 each and Autobarn wanted $40 for a pair.. the auto electric shop quoted me for Tungsram twin pack H4 +60's at $27.50..

Well MR RazoRR, I am gunna call in on thursday and get me a set

Well thats sweet 4 you, unfortunatly my bike uses H6's so i had 1 hell of a time trying to get new lights. I used a contact and got 2 H6 65/55w for $50 which is cheap considering they wont $45 each. Know any possible ways i could convert my headlights to use H4's? As i would really love a pair of those +50's.
