When I bought my 2012 xv250, I realized once home that it had no center stand and moreover that none was available from Yamaha or from other sources. So I set out to design one. I have sold one for a 1995 model (Texas) and another for a 2005 model (Australia). I cannot guarantee for other model years, but if your 250 has the mounting “ears” on the frame, chances are good that it will fit. Center stand comes complete with all hardware, spring, etc. No modifications whatsoever are required to the bike. Price is $200 Cdn + shipping ($45 to Texas, $65 to Australia). It may sound expensive, but for me there was no way I would have a bike without a center stand (less floor space in garage, ease of chain adjustment, absolutely req'd for tire replacement, oil and filter change).
