OK guy tell us your favourite fishing spot(s)
what is it that make u go fish there and such blabbery nonsense

as for me its gotta be my back yard
why? cos my lazy ass only has to walk about 3 metres
plop its fatness on the boat warf/port and cast away

i live in the Gold Coast, more precisely Runaway Bay
about 5-10mins drive away from surfers so... good time to be had by all

    RE:Fishing spot

Steep Point, western most point of the Australian mainland is by far my favourite fishing spot and argueably the best land based fishing platform in Australia. At times it turns on superb Spanish Mackeral, Shark Mackeral, Snapper, Yellowtail Kings and if your lucky even Sailfish at times. Ballooning is by far the most productive method and to see a big Spaniard actually leaping out of the water to attack a skipping bait in mid air is a site that's hard to beat. Sharks are frequently a problem though and some are just so huge it makes landing them an absolute impossibility.

    RE:proof

Well, the missus and I are heading up near there on 12th Feb so as soon as I get my gook hating ass back to Perth I will post pics of the nice little sharks i catch for ya. Not going to steep point as it requires 4WD but still fishing the shark bay area so will show you my exceptional talent <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_roll.gif" alt="" title="Rolling LoL" /><!-- s:roll: -->
