2 tone black model. Have just rebuilt the carbs with all new jets and seals. Rebuilt all three brake calipers with new seals and bleeders...refurbished the paint on them as well. Have removed and cleaned and regreased all the suspension linkages. New fuel lines. Replaced the spark plugs & caps & put new leads on them...replaced CDI and pickup coil as well. Cooling system has been properly flushed and cleaned and refilled with good coolant...no leaks and thermostat works properly. The engine runs great and smoothly..does not over heat at all no miss fires no bogging or burping.....no nasty rattles...cam chain is in very good condition no stretch.... responsive and rings out to 18k rpm just like it should. Chain and sprockets in OK cond...plenty of life left in them. Could do with new tyres and front brake discs but im not spending any more money on this. Its old but its hard to find one that runs so good after nearly 30 years.. Has 51k on the clock....assume theyre original ks. I have had both engine covers off and checked all the electrics.....oil pump and water pump have been stripped down and cleaned and checked for wear... I have an original japanese factory manual. A spare cdi and pickup and a few bots and pieces. If you spent the extra $$ on new chinese fairings...a couple of tyres this bike will live another life in the right hands. Ive apent countless hours getting this running and it hasnt missed a beat all day riding it. Starts easy...idles perfectly. Battery is ok... Will give it a wash and upload a few pics tomorrow....the pic attached is the original pic from when i bought it from the previos owner.. Im looking for offers over $1600 please.
