ZXR had a NUff

    constanly finding problems now have white smoke and water out of exhaust think it`s time for a mechanic

    My blue one is doing the same, and its not getting hot nor am I seeing coolant in the oil... I spoke to my mechanic and he said I should be looking at worn rings or the valve stem seals are shot

    Thanks mate taking it to service moto down here thay focus on grey inports see what thay think and go from there i`ll keep you posted.

    now i need a water pump cover i pulled the hose off the cover and found out the guy i got the bike from cracked the hose conecter to the cover then gasket sealed it not happy

    I wouldn't be happy either, sure you'll find another cover.

    Hay Chris i know whats wrong with the zxr of yours
    i took off the water pump cover and the pump flow fan and realined the rubber pump seal with the spring on it
    ther are two knotches on seal , line them up and put the pump cover back on flush radiator and hoses put together fill her up run for 10 min
    no mor rattle no more white smoke
    also still want the pump cover i just need to wait 2 weeks

    just about to get exhaust polished and rebuilt by my son we pulled it off and she was gunked up bad i`ll get it back friday get the pump cover of Chris and alls well that ends well CARN`T BLOODY WAIT:Drool:

    hay Chris did you try out water pump seal trick yet on the blue zxr just wondering because i can`t veryfy until iget pump cover of you next week and take the bike for a good run. I have neerly finished my tank to will put up pics when finished thanks Ken
