I have for sale a Kawasaki ZXR250A that’s needs some work or to be used as a parts bike or could be the beginning of a sweet track bike I have replaced the carbies, fitted new coils, replaced the petcock to get it to a running state, it has a good back tyre, front is average, has LK7 plate so its good for single seat rego. Its complete and runs but has the following problems Issues Fuel tank needs relining as it has a tiny leak on a seam New lock set Engine gets hot (suspect head gasket is gone) Cylinder 1 plug doesn’t tighten up all that well, it will need a helicoil No front brakes or master cylinder ( i will try and locate a set to include with the bike, no promises) Front fairing is cracked, I have the broken part so it can be welded back on Temp sender in the radiator doesn’t work Mirrors are broken Battery isn’t great Sold with no Rego or RWC These are not insurmountable problems and she could be back on the road with some effort and $$$, but I’m trying to be as honest as possible with the description, the good news is that its complete it starts and runs and is one of the true 45hp in-line 4 screamers that was on par with the CBR250's, GSXR250's and FZR250's of the day.
