QLD ZXR250c/a dump

    Got a zxr250c minus fairings, instruments and gas tank with a damaged engine (snapped exhaust cam, snapped cam chain, damaged cam cover, pieces may have fallen into the gearbox, pretty wrecked)

    Open to any offers on any of the bits on the bike.


    I've got an additional set of carbs for spares, cant confirm that the carbs on the bike are very good as I only had the engine running for 15 seconds or so.

    Got headlights and tail lights for both A and C models

    Full set of A model fairings and an A model gas tank (minus cap) in decent condition aside from one nasty crack on the rear fairing and some little dents on the tank

    Also got some other bits here and there. Would be a decent opportunity for anyone to get some spares for their zxr

    $100 for fairings
    $50 for gas tank
    $40 can have the carbs and all of my spare carb bits (again I can't confirm that they work, but they would be good for some spares)
    $70 can have the entire exhaust system - bit of surface rust on the headers but no holes, muffler is all good
    If you for some reason want the engine (might have some bits in it that'd be good for spares) I suppose you can have it for like $40 haha
    $50 radiator - bought from kiffsta and never used, good condition
    $30 for either a or c model headlight
    $20 for either tail light
    $20 C model air box

    Or you can have the whole bike and all of the parts for $300

    I'm open to any offer on any of this

    If you need any parts that you don't see here just ask and I might have one, I've got a lot of stuff lying around and haven't remembered it all

    Can provide pics of anything you might be interested in

    Hay Mate would you happen to have the ignition Cylinder switch Lock? That is all that is keeping me from the road. If fact I only really need the bottom part with the diodes and wires. 0448 903 338

    fairings are mostly good except for a pretty bad crack in the rear one

    Yes Mate that is exactly the part I need!!! How much and when can I get it!! This I hope will finish the bike and I can sneak it out for a ride!! Been working on it for over a year!!! I wired in a new digital cluster and I think a power wire touched and didn't blow a fuse just created lots of heat, I know it heated the brake line and could smell wires burning but nothing else was affected and it sounded exactly like it did before that part was replaced. I wish I had seen this earlier. Where do you live I am so excited I could pick it up now, tonight? 0448 903 338. I can't even find a chinese ignition set months ago I sworn I seen heaps on Ebay but now nothing!!! Glad that part because it means I dont need new keys, I got new kawasaki keys cuts special for this bike. Call me I never sleep.

    the fairings are for a zxr250a (pre-1991, with 2 round headlights) judging by your pic your bike looks like a zxr250c, and if it is then the fairings I have won't fit

    the muffler is all good though

    just making sure you weren't gonna get the wrong ones
    the paint on them is cracking up a little in a few spots, you can have them for $70

    very chinese by the looks of it. i've only got a c model engine with a snapped exhaust cam, snapped cam chain, smashed cam cover and damaged valves.

    Hello Peter I have a fuel petcock and the parts for it. it should still be good I have to re-assemble it first. If you send me your address I will mail it to you and you decide? I have brake calipers that will fit an 89 they are Gold in colour with all new parts by that I mean rebuilt, new seals, new slider boots, new bleed screws new pistons and fully bored and cleans cylinders. I can make them black for you if interested I also have a few other parts as well. call me after 7pm if interested 0448 903 338

    unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances i'm about 20000km away from any of those parts now. Will delete or close this thread if I can figure out how to. Best of luck
