Roundabouts are an arse in a car , especially small ones.....on a bike u have to watch the kerb , watch your direction and lean and your slow speed .... and of course watch the idiots around u!

Instructor taught us to stand up on the pegs and go over it.

With the few of them around here I find you can just lift your arse up on the initial bump then sit back down and ride over it as normal.

Roundabouts are fun... when there's no one else around them :)

Progress is slow, especially with bits that were not designed to go together.....

    Thanks for that, much appreciated.
The fluoro lights that make people ugly at 3am actually seem to make the bike look better!

Decided to take the Bandit for a run, the weather was clear if not a tad cool.:thumb_ups:
Jacket on, helmet and gloves on and ready to go, turn key and hit button and that sound we all hate, near enough to flat battery. Don't you hate that, all dressed and nowhere to go!!:aggressive:
Quick push down the drive pop into 2nd and away we go. :thumb_ups:
The moral of this story is: Got to ride more often. Go the Bandit.

Found my rg250 had some rust developing in the tank?, customary check of the fuel filter showed tainted fuel!, so emptied it gave it a flushing out and then filled it up with white vinegar. By tomorrow morning it will be as good as new.

Filled up the fuel tank after commuting and a bit of riding around, mainly stop start traffic- 7 litres for 180km. Compares pretty well with my 1993 Ford sxr6, would have used about 25 litres for the same distance!

I rode to work today. As big as it is, I had trouble finding the harbour bridge... missed my turn from Elizabeth street and had to go around. Had no issues after that. Not keen on going through the tunnel on the way back so may take Victoria Rd on the way home
