wow mate you have done well with your write up. your goning to be an expert in the field of Zeal in no time. great detail!
The supporting materials, encouragement, and advice of all you members and staff certainly make this possible. Expert? ...a great leap from a guy with just a few tools and a little bit of mouse Front brake couldn't be better, and the bolt torques(3.5 m•kg) on the caliper are holding well etc. Hopefully can write-it-up soon... Also awaiting parts constantly overheating from an intermittent fan.
Hi there, Thank you for the effort, but I will see if I can draw some conclusions from pictures on the net. The bike I have does not have the noseguard/front guard. I will follow your forum and see what i can find. Your forum is giving me a lot of info. Thanks alot. Enjoy.
Hey there, I'm looking to strain my carb float bowl/s. Where are the screws? Are they the pilot screws? Thanks Shmuli Yamaha zeal fzx 250 1998
This is a very good thread for new owners @Zeal4Life. You are very meticulous with both your work and your writing. In case you missed it and are still contemplating attacking the carburettors: http://www.litetek.co/Guide_MikuniBDST_Rebuild.html cheers Blair
Well thanks. I have drained only the 3 float bowls, that I have access to, out of the four and now my bike is running fine. I have to give credit where credit is due, to CJVFR on netrider.net.au Thank you.
