Took my 250 Maico to the state forest trail riding with a couple of mates. Up and down all sorts of madly steep hills, the old guy on the old bike showed the young ones the way, until about 2Km from camp got caught out on some wet bits in the shade that I didn't see and laid it down at about 50Km/h. No damage to bike, but twisted my left ankle when it got caught under the bike. The mate had to start the bike for me and I rode slowly back to camp feeling my ankle swelling inside my boot. Took my boot off and one look knew my day was over.
Home now with some strong painkillers and a cuppa. Bloody ankle feels like a pin cushion in a needle testing factory!

We did the fork seals on Phils mc22 and we result the carbs and tried to balance them, there is something not quite right about them so we swapped them with a spare set, massive difference now. Tomorrow we will try and sort out the brakes

    DIY Carb sync
Can't believe how far out the sync was, as soon as I turned the bike on one of bottles nearly emptied within a couple of seconds :p.

Took her for a spin, much better mid range power but the power does drop off even quicker than before. Just need to shift a bit earlier.

I'll need to do a front brake rebuild soon as it's feeling pretty crappy. It holds pressure but feels jerky (almost like ABS). I suspect some seals are gone as they were looking fairly bad when I done the pads.

So put the bike in to get tuned last week. Have received it back it's running the best it ever has, and goes above 100 now. Jets were up sized from the 95s to a set of 130s and a few cylinders were dulled back a touch to remove a 8k flat spot only issue apparently now is a small flutter at 6k in 6th which i pretty much don't use and when I do I'm already above 6k so miss the flutter spot.
