ok cool. also best to send me close up photo's from all angles to make sure there's nothing I missed on the parts list. was hard tell the exact damage to that bike from the ebay photo I printed off.
Hi, gonna sound like a noob here, but the drum that the back sprocket bolts to... Is that the spool? The bearings in that are nothing but filings :o So I don't want to muck around, need a new/better ?spool? And bearings, then I want to upgrade everything else!!! ;D
according to parts manual for a 250r lc it is called seat, rear sprocket part number 41235-170-0100. hope that helps.  :icon_scratch: :iamwithstupid: :hello2:
Whats "shattered" mean? are they completely in a million pieces? or it it just the internals are minced? If the outer casing is still intact then there will be numbers on them......and the local bearing shop will surely have them. If the bearings are completely destroyed I would be looking at damage elsewhere (rim, sprocket hub) and looking for a reason why they are so badly damaged.
They are the two in the sprocket hub and there in a Million pieces... My guess is the outer one went first and the inner hung in a bit, because there is a "resemblance" of the ring left... It's cause damage to the hub as well bit the wheel is o.k. I'm hunting a replacement for that and the parts numbers for the bearing... If I can't find a hub i might have to get one made up :'(
As for the reason... 50 to 100 km riding in the rain on the way back home from Perth, w.a. Freezing cold, numb and thinking of nothing but getting home.... So I didn't pick up on it till the bike started to vibrate.... :-\ :iamwithstupid:
