Getting the CRM250AR ready for Killarney Enduro ride today. Things needing attention included incorrectly routed brake cables, speedo cable, a pin for the rear brake so the master cylinder is connected to the pedal, cleaning of sticky residue from frame stickers, a few lost bolts, nipping of various bolts, chain adjustment, bark busters and I'm sure more things tomorrow!

Both my 03 CR125s need work: One has blown crank seals and the other needs a transmission recondition. So looks like the CRM250 is coming off the bench!

Still runs on fuel that is god-knows how many years old. Anyone else going to Killarney?

Spare MC22 did not want to turn over freely, or hold idle when it finally fired. Fuel was leaking out the bottom of the carbs somewhere, and the carby boots had seen better days. Changed battery and starter motor, and swapped the carbs for another spare set I had previously cleaned out. Eliminated the fuel and inlet leaks. Started first go and idles and revs nicely. Can now be advertised confidently as a runner for someone who wants a bike for spares, project or racing :D.

Ran a tank through the cbr250rr yesterday, then got the race ysr250 to fire off. Today took the Honda 919 (Honda Hornet elsewhere in the world) and realized that spending too much time on the 250s has a negative effect on my riding style. I've become so course on the controls that I felt like it was my first time on a liter bike. I think I need to keep a healthy mix between the little bikes and the big bikes to get and keep my skills where I want them!

Changed the oil on the R6. Had the rear pads done in Sydney as they started to go metal on metal... disc is a little worse for wear. Also discovered that the steering bearing needs to be done, along with the clutch.
