You were pretty spot on Phil. I didn't change over the kick stand switch or the rear brake switch on the replacement frame - who would have known they had different connections between a couple of years.

It's all sorted anyway! Needed to organise a front brake level/reservoir as mine is now shooting brake fluid out :p. $55 posted isn't too bad.

    She's alive!
Good to have a frame where the fairings actually line up.

Got tyres (Pirelli Rosso II) and fork seals booked in for next Saturday.
Hopefully I'll be able to get a RWC - not to sure what they look at mostly on motorcycles?
Brakes work well, disks are good & have new pads
    New windscreen
    All cables tied down
All lights work and all switches work as the should
    Steering bearings are okay
Will have new tyres and fork seals
Hopefully that will do it :)

    Then it's just organising registration.
I have a receipt for the bike that I purchased with engine number, vin number and previous rego. I also have a receipt for the new (second hand) frame with the new vin - so hopefully there's no hassle there.

I'm missing two windscreen bolts but that's it. Got a few little pieces to put on and it's done!

MATE.......that look's awesome :thumb_ups: You should be justifiably proud of your work :D
Don't know how fussy they are in Victoria, I would get the 2 missing bolts for your windscreen and perhaps a brake lever....yours looks a tad bent. She looks ready to hit the road as are you I'm sure..........well done :thumb_ups:

Had a spare lever from replacing the master cylinder - so fitted that up, replaced all the windscreen bolts and went for a little ride. Really happy with it so far.
Also put on Suzuki logo/decals on the boot and a smaller one on the fuel lid. Front mud guard to be fitted once fork seals are done.

Wondering if someone can help me identify this muffler:
Code looks to be Z35F1Z? But couldn't find anything on Google.

Went out riding both Saturday and Sunday (riding through twisties, not the usual commute).

Absolutely loving the Across. I had the chain replaced on Friday (old one was a cheapy and kept stretching) - replaced with a RK520MO in gold. Also had the rear shock turned up to the stiffest position.

I've only been riding for a month and a bit, mostly commuting. Have been to some netrider Saturday practice sessions and a couple of their other rides - good fun!

I need to improve on my body position on both sides but left side more. I want to lean but automatically my mind says nope, you must be upright :p. Practice makes perfect I guess.

Write off? I was not at fault but he didn't have insurance. So need to go through mine.

Main r/h fairing (cracked & scratched, not a standard colour), bar end knob, mirror, indicator, rear brake lever, exhaust, headlight bracket. Forks are pretty bent too.
