    Well done mate.
Seems so long ago when I delivered parts to your work, talk was then about the paint, some projects just take time and patience. Pleased it's finally done and time to hit the road.

Hey Brendan, great looking paint job looks like a mirror did you do that urself? what type of paint was it painted with? only thing I could say is it might need some decal to make it pop and bring your rider VIS up, people are blind enough on a good day, add night time, some weather and a black bike, could spell an accident, Just a thought

Is that a single stage 2pac with a solid color and hardner (comes out glossy, no clear nessesary) or is that a 2pac then clear? leds will help look forward to the pics! and good choice on the sticker haha

No clear needed. Only really need to clear coat if it has a metallic layer

    Hey Brendan
You are a bit of a star, that paint job is amazing.:thumb_ups: Reminds me of my Across that was a single colour and no decals, this was prior to the 2fiftycc.com ones becoming available. Well done my friend, awesome job.:D

Any ideas what could cause hard starting and drop in power around 11-12 thou rpm? Fueling issue perhaps? the pump has allways been noisy

Nice Job on the Paint Job dude.

I don't suppose you have the original rubber heat matts (couldn't think of a better name) which go over the engine under the boot ? there should be two separate pieces.

My across does not have them and after riding for a distance the seat gets mega hot. If you have got your heat matts in place any chance of taking a pic to show me how they are located.

    Cheers,

Same thing with mine. Although there is a rubber mat infront of the motor, maybe it belongs behind it.

I have one piece of the rubber mat, Item number 18 on the picture attached. I cannot see item 17 anywhere and I have not found any reference to them in the manual.

I figure that both of these are supposed to be positioned somehow to decrease the airflow that has passed through the radiator from flowing directly under the seat. I am pretty sure this is why the seat is getting so hot.

It would be handy to have a picture of where they are normally positioned, even without the mats it would not be too hard to manufacture something similiar as long as we know where they should be positoned.

    Cheers, FIG16.jpg

    Brendan,

Take a look at your carby slide holders, these have a tendancy to drop over a period of time and cause your mixtures and balance to go out of wack!

    cheers
