    From the Nudgee exchange, we'll head the long way to samford then nebo and Glorious for coffee etc. Then onto the dams :)

    Wish I could come instead of being stuck up here in the jungle. I reckon it's worth going on that ride just to see the bikes lined up at the cafe at the top of Mount Glorious. I was up there the other day and a fellow pulled up on a cafe racer that had a custom alloy tank, Ducati bevel drive twin engine, custom frame and swingarm, dual custom rear shocks and a custom front end comprising USD Ohlins forks and brembo calipers. What a beast it was. Then a guy pulled up on a pristine early model ZXR750. Then there was the RC8 with the Akros and carbon bodywork .

    Ha ha! I did read about that Phil. It's a different world up here that's for sure. From what I've heard it sounds like it was a fight between clans over money and business which is pretty much normal behaviour. Sounds like the tourists got off "relatively" lightly and it doesn't make business sense to knock them off in any event. I'm around the Tari area at the moment. You hear some interesting stories like the guy that bled to death the other day after his wife pulled his old fella off (yes pulled not cut!). Then there is the local strong arm who works in my crew who is said to have killed 18 people. Apparently he knocked off the last guy by walking up behind him and belting him over the head with an axe while he was playing cards!
