Cheers guys, i bought a pair that import put up off ebay, be a couple of weeks for them to show up. I think the front and rear calipers need a rebuild. They seem to work though. Didnt get fairings back on yet, maybe next weekend. And hey! The fuel cap thing works, PO musnt have realised yhat you need the key on fuel.

Ah crap, upon closer inspection the mirrors i had ordered that Greyimport put up are for a older bike, wrong angles and mounting.
Thanks for the heads up @Th3_Huntsman , i found some cbr250rr mirrors that look the goods and pulled the trigger on them. Hopefully I get my money back from the other mirrors 0.0 haha what a numpty i am :p

I'd be taking your caliper off the bike and removing the brake pistons to clean them with a tooth brush and brake fluid and rags etc. as I'd guess one piston isn't pushing out but the other is, causing that angled wear on the pad.
Check that the seals look ok as well.
I used a bit of wet & dry 1200 grit lubed with brake fluid to smooth my pistons as they had a bit of grot on them from the super old brake fluid which had gone a bit thick and chunky-like.

Pyramid parts have cheap brake pads. Mine are still in the post so not sure if they are any good yet.
I bought Pyramid pads on my dirt bike and the CBR and they seem good enough.

My chain looked like that as well.
Took to it with a brush and kerosene and it came up ok. Will see how she goes before replacing it.

Thing you have to be careful of with a chain looking like that is neglect and stretch. For the sake of $50 or so get a new one. Even better if you do sprockets at the same time.

I wouldn't be riding too far on those front brakes

Caliper needs to come off and cleaned out and as mentioned pistons need attention
With the pads removed they at least need to be cleaned up then pushed back in .... new brake fluid then needs to be bled thru with new pads installed.
    Something like this ...
    http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/hey-mum-i-bought-a-hyo.2542/page-2#post-27308

Clean the disc with water and steely soap pads to remove any glaze

When u first ride on the new tyres make sure u scrub them in to get the mould coating off .... in other words no wheelies or cornering like Mark Marquez initially

Looks can be deceiving, Moo is correct re: your disc's. Get the Vernier out and check them, rub your hand over the disc's and feel for any indents. Once you have done the seals and cleaned your callipers the pistons should move freely and your new pads will wear more evenly. If your disc's are not up to speed the same uneven wear will start again. You need the brakes to be working 100% as you need them the most.......think about it !!
