    Great news guys,

picked up my ZXR last night from south brissy and rode her home all the way to the sunny coast.

she coughed a little under load in high gear at the beginning from the old fuel i presumed, but i sorted that with a good helping of nulon octane booster/cleaner. she purred like a kitten then onwards, also had to really hammer the chain with lube (also conveniently in my backpack)

i think the throttle cable might be a lil sticky from lack of use, after prolonged riding the idle would sit higher than normal idle and slowly ease back into 500-700/Rpm after 10 or so seconds.

cant wait to get the fairings off and give the block a good scrub along with some nice new oils/filters and tlc.

will do guys, if the oil filter is in the mail i'll pick up some plugs, oil and coolant (not to mention a crap load of degreaser and soap scourers) begin the basic stuff and take some before and after shots of progress.
