As you should be, they are a good bike.
What other bike of that period has upside down forks....answer = none.
Look forward to seeing your ride, by the way was it registered or do you have some work to do.

Older owner. Mechanically A1(as good as you can tell from inspection/test ride). A couple of marks here and there as you would expect from these old bikes but still quite respectable. I guess ill find out more about it the longer i own it. However first thing i need to get is an aftermarket slip on for it. Way too quiet for safe riding in all the traffic where i live (im in the city)

mc22 exhausts will sort of fit on the zxr, you need to cut the extension off the exhaust and drill out one hole. you will only be able to get 2 bolts in so it will leak alittle.

cbr400 exhausts fit on the zxr aswell.

Haha you kick my bike ill put a potato in your exhaust. Im hardcore like that haha . Yeh i have to give props to this forum for being patient with my questions that are asked by every noob on a daily basis. Definately better than the other small capacity bike forums out there which would have just been keyboard warriors insulting/not helping. Ill try return to this forum in someway as my knowledge goes up

The weather hasn't been great down your neck of the woods, however when the sky clears up get on the road and give your machine a good run. Of course it is mandatory that you supply some fed back to us all.....enjoy :thumb_ups:

My ZXR's got a 'ballistic' exhaust. It sounds mental. I saw one up for sale a while ago, for $50... not sure if its still around though!

Hey all just an update :)

Took it for a ride this arvo. Still in love. So much fun but I still maintain that it needs a slip on ASAP haha.
