I think I will buy a set of ZXR float seats and needs. Let me know if they are any good, please?

No worries...I think it really only needed o’rings on outside of seats but while she’s apart might as well give it a birthday...
    Pretty cheap too.

New float needles are essential on any old carb .... everyone thinks the rubber tip looks fine and is ok ... horseshit ... it will be hard as , and its a cheap replacement as u say, but a very vital one

Sounds like good advice. They do seem to be in good nick but are probably as old as the bike...

@GreyImport I had re-read it 4 times before I saw the error. Guess I was just excited by the idea I could buy all 4 for the same price as 1 genuine seat and needs. I mean needle ;-P

The problem I think I was having was the needle sticking on the seat wall and not sliding home.

@Andych what is this "selling" that you speak of? :lolsign:

I certainly didn't win the lotto, but $100 isn't a big spend. In fact, that's about how much my weekly pay went up: doing more hours, now. I did the big spend earlier this week when I paid for new tyres on the 650, and some other costs. Ouch!
