    Nice set of Italian Falco boots ... secondhand and cheap on Gumtree ... hardly used and finally, a perfect fit :thumb_ups:

    Insured for slightly above what I paid for it. I have yet to receive a package from AU in decent condition. Assuming AU post will pay out on an international shipment, I'm going to take the money and do what I should have from the start. Pay to have the cylinders repaired.

    I tried to tell the seller to bolt the halves together and bolt the side covers on. I thought that's what I was paying for. He said $/kg to ship, I said go for it. 2/3 boxes have made it so far. I was mostly after the head. Lifters were dumped into a ziplock bag with the bolts that retained the cams. Cam caps were pried off with a screwdriver, as were the case halves pried apart. Cams are in a different box than the the head/valve cover and are still sitting in customs. Hoping like hell they tape it back up better than the previous 2!

    Shame you couldn't get the parts from Chris @kiffsta he has a wrecking business in aus and would look after you. What do you need to repair on the cylinder head?

    @thebeefsalad

    Hope you get it sorted. I wouldn't ship an engine unless it was in a crate and bolted. That effort is p*ss weak!

    Head was oil starved on #3, cam journal is trashed. Plan was to "bolt on" 5hp with unrestricted head/electronics. I'm pretty sure @kiffsta is one of the people I've chatted with on FB about parts, but if not feel free to tell me in PM how to find you there. While I do have unrestricted CDI, I'm pretty sure I need a loom to go with. Also dreaming of NH196H plastics but aesthetics are the last thing I'm worried about at this point.

    With that knuckle protection you could use them down at the local BigW when you go shopping for Loo paper... just beware of Plod tasering troublemakers though :minigun:

    They do look good though :)

    I bought a pair of these about a year ago (or very similar ones for about the same price) they are OK, but sizes are on the small side, and the leather quality in real life is not great. There are patches of the leather breaking down in spots. So, in my case, I got what I paid for :) I just use mine for ducking down town ect and the speed is not great :)
