That looks to be a massive failure, find it hard to believe that the sprocket is the same one shown a week ago???

And the next concern would be the state of the front sprocket.

Yeah exactly, I done a practice session today but that was it, the less K's the better - I don't want to be riding and then get nothing but revs!

Hopefully next weekend I'll have the set, we'll see

I went shopping today, getting ready for the tare down when I've got time/parts.

Also found that the rocker cover gasket is sooty, so I'll order and replace that too.

Done a basic plastic repair so the cracks don't get worse

Got some goodies from Omar today, done the cosmetics - still waiting for heaps more parts for more mechanical things!

    Arrow indicators

Shorty exhaust, fair bit louder than the other pipe. Sounds good and also looks really nice too. I'll be painting the rest of the exhaust once I get more parts. IMG_20150616_201644.jpg

LED tails and no more broken tail fairing

Friday night video! Hit 100 just before the blank out of the camera, pretty happy with the performance of the MC22! I'm only about 64kg.

Done the chain and sprockets last night as there were some funny noises on the way home from work. Didn't like to coast at low speeds either without using heaps of clutch.
Also done the Ecliptech mc22 headlight wiring upgrade.

    Start of chain
    IMG_20150619_165630.jpg

    Half way down

It was actually stretched beyond one complete link by the end

That is actually what happens with chains.... they stretch and that is why bikes are fitted with adjuster on the rear wheel to compensate for the stretch. You've done the right thing by replacing your chain and sprockets and can ride without any worries.

looking good! those tires have heaps of tread but i wouldn't be able to help swap them for rosso II's haha.
Also after seeing the stock rear sets can I say the tyga rear sets not only make the bike look 100x better but they are great! that being said someone recently mentioned they heard of them failing but mine have been life changing so far.

Definitely! Was doing the clutch but don't have the correct size castle socket. David is coming to the rescue yet again! Legend!

I've noticed on the way home last night that the bike was staying coldish. I suspect the thermostat is stuck open.

I had my license test yesterday, they have Honda CB125E's but I hated the seating position (used to sport/supersport now), even though they are easy to maneuver (I was scraping foot-pegs around the corners!). So I was able to do the test on the mc22. Felt much more comfortable, and aced the emergency braking!

    Quick snap after test:

yeah those castle nuts are evil. Grinding a 23m socket to fit worked for me, looked everywhere on the net for one but they are un-purchasable.

Clutch is done! Big thanks to David again. What a difference, friction is definitely better now, before if my finger was resting on the clutch and I was WOT it would slip. There's heaps more spring back on the lever too.
