I double checked on the FZR400 english service manual, it's 10mm-20mm movement so i set it to have 10mm movement with the centre line's all lined up.
Dropped the back wheel back to normal height and the chain has 20mm movement.
Feel's pretty smooth riding it now.

Think i have finally have the temp gauge working again, finger's crossed.
Pulled every electrical connection apart, all the terminal's looked good/clean, smeared dielectric grease on everything and reassembled it.
After 5 min's of running the temp needle has gone higher than the 1st line on the gauge
My new tube of Dielectric grease arrived ex usa yesterday too, $17 for 85 gram's, and it's still thick as sitting on the bench at 42°

Just got home, temp gauge is working perfectly now.
It got up to just under half in traffic, stop'start riding and waiting at light's etc, it is still 38° atm.
Riding at 80km/h and 100km the temp dropped down to 1/4 so i'm pretty happy about that.
It feel's a little more responsive now with the new chain too, and i can really feel the difference that shimming the rear hub cush rubber's has made as well.
Now i can enjoy my ride's a bit more

Headlight bulb comparison between Narva plus 120's and The fanless 180w Philip Led
I've noticed something though, the leds' shield to block light off to the right is actually blocking light to the left, they are obviously designed for LHD car's and bike's
Will need to modify them i think or ask for a refund

    Narva plus 120 H4's

It's a very clean white, but i don't think they'd be much good in the wet due to being too white, the Plus 120's can go back in then
The light output with the Led on high beam is incredible, the photo's don't do it justice
There is no head radiating through the glass headlight lense, and the heatsink on the back of the led is only just warm

What is the current draw/power rating on the LED's?

Though looking at that beam shape they're definitely lensed for the wrong side of the road.

Interestingly the low beam seems to throw more light into what would be the path of oncoming vehicles...

Thank's, i'm not a fan of hid's and they're illegal in anything that wasn't fitted from the factory with them.

I couldn't find my multimeter last night to check how many amp's they pull, but will check today
The chrome reflector's have screw's holding them on to the main body of the led, might try taking them apart today
I need a flat wall and some concrete that's level so i can set it up properly, and so i can see the light spread
Looked on ebay at a heap more led's and most of the really bright one's are made for lhd vehicle's

Just tested the current that the Led H4 draw's on low beam, it pull's 1.7A engine off, and 1.42A with the bike running
The Narva Plus 120's draw 4.16A engine off, and 4.64 with engine running

So comparing my Led H4's with @murdman87 's Led H4, mine have the little cut off reflector(1st 4x pic's below)
Bottom H4 pic is or is similar to murdman87s' H4 Led

I have removed the reflector's from my H4 and found they are chrome plated solid cast alloy, so i'll get the dremel onto the raised section and cut it down so they're flat
I'll try them out once it's dark tonight to see the difference

Hi @my67xr they look like the same ones I got, but I havnt been able to ride & try them out yet, can the chrome plated reflector housing be left off or does it hold the led in place? Another thing I noticed was the advert describing them as a 3 face globe but they only have 2 faces but 3 leds

Yeah the chrome reflector's hold the led pcb's into the housing.
I don't know about the 3 face description, probably a missprint or something lost in translation

Just went out to modify the reflector's and was looking at them, i noticed there's a left and right reflector
So if i was to fit them the other way around and redrill the hole on the other side it'd be a simple fix
And it's done, problem solved they're now converted to rhd H4's

    20170129_121515.jpg

Drilled for mounting the reflector's on the opposite side
    20170129_121856.jpg

    Converted led on right

    20170129_122953.jpg

And a pic from the other side, converted one on top

Cheer's, i saw the one's he was ordering, they look alright.
These only light the low on low beam and high on high beam, just checked them out and i currently have led blindness, lol
They only work out to be about $4 dearer each than the one's @Murdo bought so i'm pretty happy with them

Looking further into this right hand drive and left hand drive headlight bulb difference, now i'm wondering if reversing the reflector cup's will work?
Looking at the led fitted to the headlight the way the Led H4 are standard, they are cutting off the light to the bottom of the reflector inside the headlight not to one side, i guess it's so they don't reflect too much light up off the road ?
I might not have needed to do it

Yeah i'm going out for a ride tonight once it cool's down so will see how it goes

I couldn't get the led H4 to sit right in the headlamp due to someone has cut the centre brace out of the top fairing/windscreen frame and left a couple of bit's of metal sticking out.
I've taken it all off and trimmed it back so there is some clearance now
It wouldn't affect the globe if it was a standard headlamp with the twin bulb's, but mine has a single H4 in the middle, probably off something like a TDX850

This is a standard headlamp which my bike should have, they use a hard to find bulb and have 2 of them
